Susan Sheller and Dylan Aragon with an Impromptu Moondance
Description

By Debra Muzikar

We were honored that people came from miles away for yesterday’s screening of the new film Normal People Scare Me Too a film about autism at Plaza Cinema 14 in Oxnard, California. As people came into the theater, Susan Sheller captured the mood with a Bob Dylan song. She spotted Dylan Aragon in the crowd and asked him up unexpectedly for an impromptu song. What happened next was “Moon Magic”.

Apologies! My poor video camera with it’s poor sound quality doesn’t adequately capture this moment.

Keri Bowers and myself are on a road trip. As we drove into the Bay Area this evening we watched the clouds transform as the sun shimmered creating silver linings. The moon (also behind the clouds) came out as we drove into the parking lot for the motel we are staying in. Our next destination is the ARC of San Francisco tomorrow AM. We also will be visiting the art studio Creative Growth in San Francisco and then on to Sacramento where we will be meeting up with one of the artists we love Kevin Mount, Senator Joel Anderson, and Marty Omoto of CDCAN.

We will be writing a blog about the incredible people and programs we are visiting that are making a difference in the autism community soon!
