Practice makes perfect. This adage applies to artist Joel Anderson.
A highlight of the Mozart & The Mind Symposium June 1 in San Diego was seeing Temple Grandin emerge on canvas before our eyes. It looks effortless but Joel Anderson has been honing his Temple Grandin portrait skills for months creating many versions in his Fallbrook studio.
As Temple Grandin gave her keynote speak, Joel painted on stage.

Temple signs the painting!

Temple loves to share her marketing wisdom with autistic artists. Her advice to Joel “paint pets and people’s homes.”
Below are the many versions of Temple that Joel painted preparing for this event.
