Feathers: A Collection of Sounds from the Heart
Description

By Moontain

Feathers (Lost) is a collection of sounds & simple melodies from the heart. Please listen here.

Feathers features an acoustic song called “Anima” which was a first take as i was sipping my morning coffee. It was (and still is) a moving one to record because this was a time where (and still am) wondering about the relevance of existence … As this world is going soulless & insane, making it harder than ever for a sensitive being (human, flora or fauna) to even breathe or flourish.

The “Magic & Chaos” tracks are all semi-improvisations on my out-of-tune piano. They were capturing the mood of a summer, with its moments of grace, light, but also inner storms …

“Totemic” which was the last song i’d made in studio, i never had a real opportunity to finish it but i feel like it already says what it had to express. To me it was like giving a chance to a mute heart to speak out.

The two “Squirrel Hill” instrumentals were the last demos i’ve recorded when i was still ruining my health & my nights on long recording sessions in front of my computer. They were supposed to be the final testimony of my life-changing trip to Pittsburgh where i met my “ex-future bride to be” … many years ago. Her place was in this neighborhood called squirrel hill, majestic trees, hawks, icicles, love and of course squirrels were some of the wonders we shared.

Since i was a child, i always felt Life was bigger & deeper than human’s physical limits. I grew up focusing on the details animating this Whole, riding thoughts & mirages the furthest possible, falling in love with Nature’s natures.

The Pareidolia universe, signs etc, soon became my best friends and opened me the Doors of the intuitive realities.

Experiences always showed me how humbling and rewarding it is to pay attention to these interconnected waves, as well as their never-ending Source of Knowledge.

What drives me is the desire to Be and to Re-member, as much as the will to share positive waves and insights to help the Change.
