El Dolor del Ruido (The Pain of Noise)
Description

El Dolor del Ruido

By Alan Robinson

Duele cualquier palabra, prefiero el silencio

duele el pasado, necesito el silencio

duele el futuro, deseo el silencio

duele toda conversación…

soy el silencio.

Aturden, los oídos

zumban,

nubes en mi mirada celeste

vientos en mis oídos subterráneos

voz propia, sonidos ajenos

volver a ser música

cantar mi cuerpo, bailar mi sexo!

The Pain of Noise (English Translation)

Any word hurts, I prefer silence

the past hurts, I need silence

the future hurts, I wish the silence

all conversation hurts …

I am the silence.

Stun the ears

they buzz,

clouds in my celestial gaze

winds in my underground ears

The own voice, foreign sounds

turn back to music

sing my body, dance my sex!
